This was the best sushi eating experience I have ever had. Food (melt in your mouth), atmosphere (authentic), staff (courteous, knowledgable), wine (red) - everything was perfect, and for the price, a good deal.

I went with the Sushi Deluxe by recommendation of my waitress.

I'm keeping this short. She was right. Do yourself a favor and go.

We came in on a Saturday evening around 9pm. We were quoted a 25 minute wait (we came in without reservations because they don't take them unless you have a party of 5+}. It took us approximately 15 mins to get sat.

Our server was Dina. She wasn't the friendliest server but she was efficient and took care of us well. We saw her often which was nice, she wasn't one of those servers who disappears for long bouts of time.

I ordered the Blue Ribbon roll and a spicy crab roll. My husband ordered a tuna roll and salmon roll. We both shared a bottle of sake and a half order of oxtail fried rice.

Everything was DELICIOUS. I think our only cons were that it was very stuffy in the room we were put in. You're veryyy close to other patrons and it's a bit overwhelming because no one really has room to move around.

We have a Blue Ribbon Sushi location open up in Vegas recently so I'm excited to give that place a shot, considering how much we loved the food.

Came here today for the first time for a business lunch. At first, I walked right by the place and stopped in front of Starbucks, trying to figure out where I was going. Oddly enough, a woman stopped and asked me what I was looking for. She then pointed and said, "it's inside the hotel."

"It" was an oasis in Columbus Circle. Most lunch options in the area are polarized -- either very formal or almost fast food-like -- and tourists can sometimes take over the scene.

Blue Ribbon is a hidden gem. Limited wait to check in, even at peak time of 12:30pm. Not too crowded, interesting little seating areas, sort of a mid-century modern feel. Some of the tables are a little close together and I felt our neighbor was listening in a bit, but hey -- that's New York.

I wasn't terribly adventurous regarding food this time -- chicken teriyaki bento box -- but it was well executed. There was a generous portion of shrimp tempura with the box, which make me quite happy!

All considered, I'll definitely go again -- feels sophisticated without formality, private enough to have a conversation, and only a block from the office.

This restaurant is a bit hard to find because they are unmarked from the outside and located inside a hotel across from the Shops at Columbus Circle. The fried chicken is BOMB. Whoever thought of mixing honey and wasabi together to make the sauce is a genius. It's also so crispy and juicy and hot because they fry it to order. The sushi I had was also solid. They don't take reservations so you might have to wait a bit, even on weekdays.
